4. The Oconee County Board of Commissioners would like to hear what matters to you regarding a potential Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (TSPLOST). 

6. A TSPLOST is a sales tax of up to 1% used exclusively for transportation. 

   The TSPLOST that Oconee County citizens will vote on during the November 8 election will include four categories:

   1. Property tax reduction through a millage rate drop resulting in lower property taxes
   2. Safety & operational Improvements to existing roads
   3. New trails & paths
   4. Repaving of roads based on the paving index, an assessment of county road condition
