Job vacancies are posted in the Human Resources Office, Courthouse 2nd Floor Bulletin Board and posted in various County Departments. Job vacancies can also be found on our Job Openings page.
You should review "Application and Hiring Procedures" before completing your employment application.
Once you have found a job opening that interests you, you can apply online, print an employment application and submit by mail, or apply in person at our offices where applications are available for your use.
You may submit a photocopy of a previous paper application, as long as you sign again with a current date. You should take care, however, that the information on the application is accurate, current, and applicable to each position for which you apply.
If you have applied for a previous position within 90 days, you can ask Human Resources to see if your application is still on file for submission.
Applications are forwarded to the Hiring Department for the vacant position. Your application will be screened to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications for the position you are applying for. If your application is selected to be considered, then the Hiring Department will notify you to schedule an interview. If you are extended an offer of employment, it will be contingent upon completing all pre-employment requirements, i.e. drug screening, criminal background checks, etc.
