Oconee County Fire Rescue will offer an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course this fall beginning September 16, 2019. The course includes 84 hours of classroom instruction and practical assessment, followed by 24 hours of clinical ride-alongs with National EMS. Classes will be held Mondays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will include two Saturday sessions on October 5 and November 2. Upon successful completion of the EMR course, participants will be eligible to volunteer as Emergency Medical Responders with Oconee County Fire Rescue.
