EMA Ordinance First Reading and Public Hearing Scheduled for January 29, 2019

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC


The Oconee County Board of Commissioners will have a First Reading and Public Hearing regarding the Emergency Management Ordinance at its Agenda Setting Meeting on January 29, 2019. A Second Reading and Public Hearing with action of the proposed ordinance will be held at its Regular Meeting on February 5, 2019. The Ordinance provides the ability to act in accordance with Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency for the best interests of Oconee County citizens in the event of a disaster.
