Early voting for the November 6, 2018 General Election will be held Monday October 15 through Friday, November 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Oconee County Board of Elections, 10 Court Street, Watkinsville.
Saturday voting will be available October 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Board of Elections.
The last day to register to vote before the November 6 General Election is October 9.
Absentee ballot mailing will begin September 18. The last day to request and mail absentee ballots is Friday, November 2. Click here to download an absentee ballot application.
To register to vote, check voter registration status, locate your voting precinct on election day, and review sample ballots, visit the Georgia Secretary of State My Voter Page at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov.
Reserved voter parking and reserved voter handicapped parking will be available in front of the Oconee County Courthouse. Two additional reserved voter handicapped spaces will also be available behind the Oconee County Board of Elections building; please note that all other parking spaces located behind the Board of Elections are private property and are not available for voter parking. A limited mobility drop-off area is available next to the Board of Elections building. Voters may also park in any other spaces available in the Oconee County Government parking lot. As provided for by Georgia Election Code O.C.G.A. § 21-2-385.1, voters who are 75 years of age or older or who are disabled may request and be allowed to move to the front of the voting line.
