Meal Services

The Oconee County Senior Center offers the following meal services for members.  For questions or additional information, please contact the Center at 706-769-3979 and speak to a knowledgeable staff member.  

Congregate Meals

A well-balanced, nutritional meal is served daily, Monday through Friday, at 12:00 noon in the center dining room. To participate in congregate meals, you must:

  • Be a current registered member.  Please view the Information page for registration information.
  • Stop at the front desk or call the center (706-769-3979) three days in advance to make reservations for lunch.
  • A suggested donation of $3.00 per meal for members is greatly appreciated, however, no one will be turned away for the inability to make a donation.
  • For guests and members under 60 years of age, the fee per meal is $5.00.

Home Delivered Meals – Meals on Wheels

Meals are provided to homebound citizens through the Northeast Georgia Area Agency on Aging and the Oconee County Senior Center.  To enroll for the Meals on Wheels program, please contact the Northeast Georgia Area Agency on Aging at 706-583-2546 or 800-474-7540.

Donations

Donations for meals are much appreciated, however, no-one will be turned away for the inability to make a donation.

Volunteer to deliver meals
