Q: There was not a white envelope included with my absentee ballot. What should I do?
A: A vendor is mailing out the ballots and they included a white sleeve of paper for the ballot instead of an envelope. Please use the sleeve as you would the envelope. It is not necessary to tape the sleeve.

Q: If I forgot to use the sleeve and put my ballot directly in the yellow and white envelope, will my vote still count ?
A: YES!!!

Q: When will the Elections office be open to the public?
A: We will reopen on Monday, May 18th at 8:00 a.m.

Q: Will there still be Early Voting and if so, when does it begin and where?
A: Early Voting will be held May 18th through June 5th. Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday voting will be May 30th - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.
All Early Voting will be held at the Elections office, 10 Court Street, Watkinsville, GA 30677.

Q: Will all 12 voting precincts be open on Election Day, June 9th?
A: Yes every voting precinct will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Q: What is the last day to register to vote in order to vote in the June 9th Primary?
A: May 11th is the voter registration deadline.

Q: Is it safe to drop my ballot in your Absentee Ballot Drop Box?
A: YES!! The Ballot Box is secure and under 24 hour surveillance. Ballots are removed under dual control by Election officials twice a day and documented.

Q: Can I drop my absentee ballot application in the Absentee Ballot Drop Box?
A: YES!!
