The E-Verify Employment Eligibility Verification Program (EEV) involves verification checks of the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) databases, using an automated system to verify the employment authorization of all newly hired employees, regardless of citizenship, after completion of the Employment Eligibility Verification Form (Form I-9). Oconee County has been complying with E-Verify since August 2007.

Sorry, but no. We only accept applications for positions that are currently open. Make sure to check the job listing often for updates of open, closed and filled positions. If you are interested in an open position, you should submit your application as soon as possible to be sure you are considered for that position.
A resume or letter of interest cannot be accepted in place of a County application, but may be attached to an application for additional information.
You may submit a photocopy of a previous paper application, as long as it has an original signature. You should take care, however, that the information on the application is accurate, current, and applicable to each position for which you apply.
