County Pays the Majority of the employee's insurance and 60%
of dependent cost. There is also a voluntary Wellness Program 
associated with the Health Insurance.

SECTION 125 โ€“ CAFETERIA PLAN

Provided through Admin America.

This program allows you to pay for:

(a) Child/Dependent Care;

(b) Health, Disability and other eligible insurance premiums; and

(c)Unreimbursed medical expenses with before tax dollars. Before tax dollars means untaxed salary dollars.

PENSION PLAN

Provided through GEBCorp through the ACCG.

100% paid by the County.

Employees become participants on Date of Hire and are vested after 10 years of employment.

DEFERRED COMPENSATION

Provided through GEBCorp through the ACCG.

  457(b) -          This program helps qualified employees supplement their future
                            retirement income by deferring compensation for retirement
                            purposes on a pretax basis reducing your Federal and State taxes.

  ROTH 457-  This program helps qualified employees supplement their future
                            retirement income by deferring compensation for retirement
                            Purpose on an aftertax basis with the opportunity of withdrawals 
                            being tax free.
 401a-               With participation in the Deferred Compensation plan,
                           the county has a matching 401 a plan. The County will match 25% of your
                           contribution up to 6% of your annual salary.                         

LIFE INSURANCE

Provided through Unum.

100% paid by the County.

The amount of coverage is twice the annual salary with $10,000 minimum and $60,000 maximum.

LONG-TERM DISABILITY

Provided through Unum.

100% paid by the County.

PAID HOLIDAYS

New Year's Day, M. L. King's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day,Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Birthday

PERSONAL LEAVE

Full-time employees shall be entitled to earn and accrue personal leave. An employee must complete six (6) months of continuous service before being eligible to take accrued personal leave.

Personal leave is accrued as follows:

6 โ€“ 10 10 15 days
over 10 12 18 days

SICK LEAVE

All permanent full-time employees shall earn sick leave with pay at the rate of one day/8 hours each calendar month of service.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

A counseling service that is available to you confidential and free.

All employees that are not elected or appointed are paid biweekly, 26 weeks a year whether you are paid salary or hourly. Pay calendar included in new-hire packet.
