The Oconee county Tax Commissioner’s office has announced that the 2015 Property Tax Bills will be mailed out in mid September. The due date for taxes is November 15 2015. Postmark will be accepted. You may pay your tax bill online at www.oconeecountytax.com.
If you have not received your property tax bill for 2015 by September 30, 2015, please contact the Tax Commissioner’s office at 706.769.3917.
Online vehicle registration renewal is now available at www.oconeecountytax.com under "links." In order to renew online, you must have an "RIN" number which will be printed on tag renewal notices.
If you do not have your RIN number, you can obtain it with your tag numbers by calling 706-769-3917. There is a convenience fee of $4.95 to process your renewal online.
The Oconee County Tax Commissioner's Office now accepts credit/debit cards. There is a 2% convenience fee for these transactions.
