Extension Publications. Testing ServicesThe University of Georgia offers a complete range of services to test soil, plants, water, feeds, home environment and pesticides. Testing services offered by UGA. Soil SamplesSoil samples can be dropped off at the Oconee County Extension office. The fee is $8.00 for the basic test. Soil Testing Information. Water SamplesWater samples can be submitted to the Oconee County Extension Office Monday through Thursday morning. The fee is $15.00 for the basic test for minerals and $30.00 for coliform bacteria.
